Pulling: back and biceps
Bent-over dumbbell row
Muscles worked: Upper back · lats · biceps

How to do it
- Set up. Hold the dumbbells, soften your knees and hinge forward from your hips until your torso is at about 45 degrees. Keep your back flat and hold that angle for the whole set.
- Move. Draw your elbows back towards your hips, keeping the weights close to your body without twisting.
- Finish. Lower the weights slowly. Stay in the hinge, or stand up and reset if your back starts to round.
Common mistakes
- Standing up more with every rep.
- Rounding your back.
- Jerking the weights up.
